The North American Spine Society Annual Education Event
October 25-28th, 2017
This is the world's largest annual education event featuring Orthopedic surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Neurologists, Radiologists, Physiatrists, Pain Management Specialists, anesthesiologists, psychologists, chiropractors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, researchers, administrators and all other health care professionals with an abiding interest in spine care.
At this event, there was a seminar that provided an update on the latest basic and clinical science on the use cannabinoids, including cannabidiol (CBD), the non-psychoactive component of cannabis. Recent evidence and studies suggests that cannabinoids may be a promising therapy. The presentations reviewed the pre-clinical and clinical evidence for efficacy, defined the mechanisms of action and reviewed the scientific evidence supporting therapeutic use of cannabinoids and potential risks and drug interactions associated with its use and reviewed the pharmacology and neurobiology of cannabinoids. These products have been used for the treatment of many conditions, including pain, insomnia, nausea, PTSD and seizures. CBD is largely available throughout the United States as a non-psychoactive agricultural product.
We were honored to be the only company from the hemp industry allowed at this prestigious convention and happy to share our story of how we are bringing our all-natural, high quality CBD products to pharmacies everywhere through our Ananda Professional line of products launching in February of 2018.
