How do I administer CBD to my pet?
Place CBD Oil drops between your pet’s cheek and back teeth or drop onto their food or favorite snack.
Is CBD Oil safe for both cats and dogs?
Yes. Ananda Pets CBD Oil is 100% safe for both cats and dogs to consume. Every batch of Ananda Pets is tested by a third-party laboratory to ensure purity - we take the health of your best friend seriously. Our products are:
- Natural
- Non-addictive
- Non-toxic
- Non-psychoactive
- Non-GMO
Your pet deserves the best, and our vertical integration allows us complete control from seed to shelf.
Will CBD make my pet feel “high?”
No. Unlike marijuana, hemp contains extremely low levels of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the compound in marijuana responsible for the “high” feeling.
Are there any negative side effects?
Ananda Pets is safe and non-psychotropic. Side-effects of pets given CBD oil are rare, and when experienced are relatively mild.
What will happen if I give my pet more than the recommended dosage?
There are no recorded incidences of fatal overdoses from CBD products, yet we still highly recommend you adhere to the suggested dose for your pet according to their weight.
How long does it take for CBD to work for my dog/cat?
The time it takes for CBD to work varies from pet to pet based on their age, weight, and overall health. You could see a noticeable difference in your pet after just one use, or it may take several weeks to see results. The benefits of CBD are cumulative, and as such, we recommend a minimum of 30 days of consistent use to see full effects.
What is the difference between CBD for pets vs. CBD for humans?
The hemp plants we use to make CBD for both human and animal consumption are one and the same, and the extraction process is also identical. The primary difference comes down to taste (we do not add the botanical terpene blend to Ananda Pets) and dosage. Ananda Pets is formulated specially for dogs and cats, and this is why the concentration of cannabinoids is low, and we also add bacon flavoring to make it easy to administer.
Can my pet take my CBD, and vice versa?
Yes to both, although the bacon flavoring may taste a bit odd to a human. The only important consideration to remember is that human CBD tends to have a much higher concentration of cannabinoids, so it is prudent to be very careful so as not to give your animal friend too high of a dose.
