After graduating from West Point, I served on active duty as an Apache pilot in the U.S. and Europe. After receiving my MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, I spent the next 15 years as a senior executive in the financial services industry. During this time, I sat on multiple boards and was a Responsible Officer for the company.
I began to research and understand the true benefits of medicinal hemp and, more importantly, the gaps in education and acceptance that exist in most parts of the world.
Over the past several decades, pharmaceutical companies and the healthcare system have lost sight of the patient. We have become too reliant on prescription medications. In order to change the economic structure of the healthcare system, we must focus on proactive versus reactive care.
At Ananda Hemp, we believe Mother Nature provides the best architecture for wellness and healing. We simply take the best parts of the plant, including the vast array of cannabinoids, terpenes, essential fatty acids, and other phytonutrients and balance them in simple, easy to use formats.
Evidence-based education, research and innovation are the cornerstones of what we do. By heavily investing in and elevating the science that supports the therapeutic use of cannabinoids, we are able to pursue the most promising ideas and explore all avenues for new therapies.
In 2015, the Lambert family made an unprecedented donation of $34M to the University of Sydney for research into the therapeutic uses of medicinal cannabis. This resulted in the Lambert Initiative, an Australian first in the field of medicinal cannabinoids – both in its breadth and depth of research innovation.
For me, it’s about the people we serve. Not a day goes by that I don’t hear a story from someone whose life has been touched by our company. That’s what motivates me the most.
We want you to live a happier, more blissful life. That is the reason we created Ananda Hemp.
