Questions to Ask when Purchasing CBD 1024 684 Ananda Hemp

Not all CBD products are created equal. There are some important questions to ask when considering which product to purchase. What exactly is in the product? Where does it come from? Why do some CBD oil products cost more than others? There are a wide variety of products containing CBD oil to choose from. It’s important when comparing the cost of one CBD oil product to another that you review ingredients, quality, quantity, and that the products you are comparing are as similar as possible. You wouldn’t compare the quality of a steak from a steakhouse to one from a breakfast chain, right? Well you probably don’t want to compare how much is CBD oil isolate product that’s imported with one of a USA grown full spectrum product. Are you wondering which one to choose? Read on.

First stop, what is the difference between a full spectrum CBD oil product and a CBD oil isolate?

Full Spectrum: The product contains all of the cannabinoids found in the source plant. Isolate: Is pure CBD leaving behind all of the other cannabinoids found in the source plant.

Which is better?

Well that’s up for debate and under research, but we suspect that all of those cannabinoids left behind for an isolate probably have benefits of their own and might even work together to reach their maximum potential. This is one reason Ananda Hemp has one of the most diverse cannabinoids profiles on the market, our cultivars were derived from sources like SE Asia, Africa, and the Himalayan regions.

Are the cannabinoids natural or are they from synthetics?

Synthetic cannabinoids are made in a lab. Natural cannabinoids are sourced from the plant itself as Mother Nature intended. Ananda Hemp never uses synthetics.

Where does the CBD oil in the product come from?

How much is CBD oil imported from other countries such as China, India, South America, and Europe compared with How much CBD Oil is made in the U.S? Ananda Hemp products are all harvested and processed in the USA. Why does it matter? There’s a lack of transparency when it comes to the CBD’s origin, volume, and quality control when it comes to imports. The largest problem is that hemp has a tendency to absorb contaminants from the soil in which it grows. For this reason we encourage you to purchase products that can answer to this concern.

Ananda Hemp’s permits and licenses are available for viewing from the website.

We utilize 8th generation farmers to grow seeds from our parent company Ecofibre, Ltd in Australia. We never use pesticides on our hemp. With our seed-to-sale platform we can use the batch number to tell you what food grade certified and FDA registered plant the extraction took place in, what farm it grew on, and what seed lot it was cultivated from. Our products are tested in third party labs for consistent formulation and to guarantee no contaminates exist to ensure safety. If the CBD oil product you are considering can’t provide you with the same information we encourage you to consider Ananda Hemp.

Why do some CBD oil products cost more than others?

When comparing how much CBD oil products cost, be sure to compare ingredients, potency, dosage recommendations, product source, and number of doses per package. Don’t forget to look into how and where it was processed.

Products that have a lower mg of CBD per serving will be lower in price than a higher dosage. Also, look at what the product is. Is it an isolate CBD oil or is it a full spectrum CBD oil? Ananda Hemp’s products are full spectrum which means they contain a host of cannabinoids including CBD, CBN, CBL, CBDA, CBG, CBC, THCV and/or CBDV. Not all CBD oils are alike.

What is difference in Cbd isolate, full spectrum 200 Cbd

  • Dana @ Ananda Hemp May 1, 2018 at 4:29 pm

Hi Tom, there is a big difference between CBD isolate and a full spectrum product. There are over 100 cannabinoids in a hemp plant. CBD isolate is an extraction of only the CBD molecule. Whereas a Full Spectrum product does not isolate molecules and instead leaves all the beneficial cannabinoids of the hemp plant in the extraction. Cannabinoids have been shown to work together in synergy, creating better results than CBD alone. Check out this article for more details:

Would it hurt anything to take a full dropper in the morning and a full dropper in the evening

  • Dana @ Ananda Hemp June 25, 2018 at 2:33 pm

We always suggest starting with a low dose and increasing slowly so you can better understand the dosage that is right for you. Each individual is different. Two dropperfuls a day will not hurt you but might be more than you need, depending on what you are taking it for and which product. If you would like a more specific dosage recommendation, please send us an email to [email protected] and we would be happy to help!

What 3rd party lab do you use to verify your product and do use use Co2 extraction?

  • Higher Olive June 7, 2019 at 8:37 am

This is a wonderful, informative post! I have often been questioned about whether hemp products I use such as hemp seed oil and hemp milk are safe and how they relate to the marijuana plant. I never knew the answer to these questions except to say that they are a different part of the plant that doesn’t contain THC. Now I truly understand the difference! Thank you

Hi Scott, we use a fractional distillation process with food grade ethanol. We feel ethanol is superior over CO2 for hemp extraction. Please check out this article to see why: We use a number of trusted ISO certified, third party labs to get the most accurate reading of our products – Iron Labs, DB Labs, Steep Hill Labs to name a few.
