PRODUCT BENEFITS

Our products contain so much more than just CBD, including a wide range of beneficial cannabinoids, terpenes, and other phytonutrients. We use limited, plant-based ingredients with no additives, fillers, or preservatives. Our products are quality tested for pesticides, heavy metals, microbials, and residual solvents. We utilize third-party testing at every stage - from seed to shelf - so you can feel confident knowing you are purchasing the highest quality product on the market. Please see the Certificate of Analysis to view our test results for every product we sell.

Our Full Spectrum Softgels are hand-crafted to promote:

  • Management of moderate day-to-day stressors
  • Post-workout recovery
  • Optimal physical and mental performance
  • A sense of calm and relaxation

DOSING RECOMMENDATIONS

Dosage varies greatly for each individual. It is necessary to find the dosage that is right for you. We suggest starting with one softgel in the evening, preferably with food. Monitor how you feel for a day or two at this dose. If you feel you need more, you can take another softgel 12 hours later. Softgels can be taken in the morning or evening, or both.

FOR BEST RESULTS

  • Take consistently, daily and preferably after a meal
  • Store in a cool, dry place (product does not require refrigeration)
  • If you find you need to increase your dosage in smaller increments than 15mg, we recommend trying our Full Spectrum CBD Oils.

The Ananda Hemp Difference

Ananda Hemp offers state-of-the-art and federally-compliant products made with full spectrum CBD oil, which we extract from 100% Kentucky-grown hemp. We take great care in cultivating each plant used for our high-end line of CBD products, using only organic farming methods. Additionally, all of our blends are quality-tested for contaminants like heavy metals, pesticides, and mold.

We use time-trusted, highly-effective ethanol extraction, which allows us to coax over 500 bioactive phytonutrients from the hemp plants - resulting in the only formula genuinely deserving of the title 'full spectrum.'

Full Spectrum CBD Softgels (also known as CBD pills)

At Ananda Hemp, we pride ourselves on creating the world's most pure and potent full-spectrum CBD oils, softgels, and salves. Excellent for convenient and on-the-go dosing, Ananda's Full Spectrum CBD softgels are a choice blend of our very own cold-pressed hemp seed oil, premium full spectrum hemp extract, gelatin, and glycerin.

Grown and extracted in the USA, our premium, full spectrum CBD softgels are 100% legal and compliant under the federal guidelines outlined in the 2018 Farm Bill.

How much CBD is in a CBD Softgel/Pill?

Each softgel contains 15mg of active cannabinoids and is available in 30 or 60 count serving sizes. We also offer a Zero THC softgel formulation (full spectrum CBD without the THC = broad spectrum CBD) available only in 30 counts.

You can take these CBD softgels any time of day (see our page on CBD dosage for more information), although we recommend dosing in the evening when you are first starting since drowsiness is the most common side effect of too high a dose.

CBD Softgels vs. CBD Tinctures

Both styles of CBD products (softgels and tinctures) are made from the same batch of Ananda's full spectrum hemp extract - the only significant difference lies in how they are used, making that which is better a matter of personal preference. Additionally, in contrast to tinctures, softgels take longer to come on, with a prolonged window of efficacy.

CBD softgels are highly convenient and great for on-the-go precision dosing. Each softgel is loaded with an exact dose of 15mg of active cannabinoids, making it easy to maintain a consistent dosing regimen - even with a hectic lifestyle. The grassy, Earthy taste of the hemp seed oil (plus the botanical terpene blend) is an undesirable taste for some - CBD softgels are swallowed like a pill - a 'hemp vitamin.'

Also, for quite some time, tinctures have been more of an obscure herbalist's obsession than a mainstream way to take medicine. Many people feel more comfortable with the thought of taking a pill as opposed to something coming from a dropper, which can help with the myriad of feelings that may come accompany starting a CBD regimen. Hemp has only been removed from Schedule I status very recently.

Considering this, it's natural that many people feel skeptical or hesitant about taking a hemp-based product, especially if the individual's friends or family remain in disapproval of naturopathic remedies. Hopefully, this will continue changing as more and more realize that the stigma surrounding this versatile plant is unwarranted - and actually preventing a lot of healing!

All these reasons are why we offer CBD softgels - they are tasteless, discrete, and convenient - happiness in a bottle.

Seed to Health

Our unique CBD products begin their lives at Ecofibre, our parent company, and owner of the largest private cannabis seed bank in the world. This mutually beneficial relationship allows our unparalleled selection of the best hemp genetics available.

At the precise researcher-recommended latitudes ideal for growing hemp, we hand-plant these special seeds - in the fertile hillsides of Kentucky. Since we employ organic growing practices, we use no pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs - and our products are certified glyphosate free, to boot.

We work with generational farmers who take immense pride in working with our hemp plants. The sun is our growing lamp, the Kentucky rainwater our irrigation, and every plant is harvested by hand.

After harvest, we move our hemp plants to our brand-new LEED Platinum Plus extraction facility - less than 20 miles from our fields. Here, we perform our ethanol extraction. While many CBD manufacturers prefer supercritical CO2 extraction, we feel emphatical that ethanol produces superior results.

In our extraction process, food-grade ethanol is passed through the hemp flowers and brought to a simmer. As the flowers mix with the ethanol they create natural friction and produce a nutrient-rich vapor. Then, we recirculate the ethanol through the plant matter, allowing for maximum extraction and zero waste.

Our sophisticated ethanol extraction technology removes unwanted plant waxes and chlorophyll without the high-heat used in other extraction methods. Supercritical CO2 extraction is highly selective for a limited range of cannabinoids, terpenes, and waxes; on the other hand, ethanol pulls out virtually every phytonutrient found in hemp.

Our distillation process (evaporating the ethanol) is very gentle; however, there is an inevitable loss of terpene content during this step (terpenes are delicate, volatile compounds). We replenish this loss with a botanical terpene blend sourced from plants - the same terpenes that occur naturally in hemp.

Our commitment to your health wouldn't be complete without routine laboratory testing. This dedication is why every product we sell is third-party tested by ISO-certified labs. This rigorous protocol allows us to provide the utmost in quality, safety, and transparency. Locate the batch number on the back of any Ananda package, type that number into our CoA (Certificate of Analysis) lookup tool, and instantly see the lab results for the bottle you hold in your hand.

Why take CBD Softgels?

'CBD softgel' generally refers to a carrier oil (MCT, hemp seed oil, olive oil, etc.) blended with either one or many cannabinoids. 'CBD softgels' is the overarching category of hemp-derived CBD in an ingestible pill, capsule, or softgel format.

However, this is only a vague description, and CBD softgel products vary significantly in their ingredients and effectiveness.

Ananda Hemp CBD softgels consists of cold-pressed hemp seed oil (pressed in-house from our very own hemp seeds), and our full spectrum hemp extract. Our softgels stand in a league of their own, providing your body with many hemp-based nutrients such as:

  • Cannabinoids (CBD, THC, CBC, CBG, CBDV)
  • Terpenes (myrcene, limonene, pinene, linalool, b-caryophyllene, terpinene, eucalyptol)
  • Flavonoids (apigenin, luteolin, kaempferol, quercetin, and cannflavin A and B)
  • Alkamides (immune-stimulating molecules)

These healthful substances exist only in real full spectrum CBD - not CBD isolate. CBD isolate lacks the heralded 'entourage effect.' This term was created by Ralph Mechoulam (the first person to isolate CBD and THC from cannabis) to illustrate the 2 + 2 = 5 effect, which occurs as a result of ingesting multiple cannabinoids simultaneously.

CBD isolate most often the result of an involved extraction process that necessitates the use of petroleum-based solvents (primarily pentane), resulting in a white crystalline powder that is 99.9% CBD. While, in theory, this may sound like the ultimate way of taking CBD, it is comparable to eating ascorbic acid in place of an orange.

Want more reasons to try our CBD Softgels?

Virtually every animal on Earth (vertebrates and invertebrates) have an endocannabinoid system.

With this in mind, it makes sense that cannabinoids are vital to the ongoing healthy functioning of our minds and bodies. Cannabinoid receptors exist throughout every part of our physiology, and play a crucial role in maintaining balance, or 'homeostasis.' Unfortunately, due to the realities of modern living, many of us do not produce enough endocannabinoids (cannabinoids made inside the body) to maintain health and wellness.

Experts have dubbed this syndrome 'Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency Syndrome.' Many now hypothesize that numerous chronic, degenerative issues have their roots in this diagnosis - so theoretically, by boosting your body's cannabinoid levels, you could potentially support various health conditions.

Enter CBD. CBD inhibits FAAH - the enzyme that breaks down anandamide (the 'bliss molecule'). Anandamide is the most well-known, widely-studied endocannabinoid in existence, and CBD softgels allow your body to have more of it. This reaction is only one way that CBD interacts with your body to promote health and well-being; according to extensive research, CBD seems to have direct/indirect beneficial effects on virtually every one of our receptors - and thus every aspect of our health.

CBD FAQ

What is Full Spectrum CBD Oil?

Full spectrum hemp CBD oil is the pure oil extracted from hemp, which is bursting with natural cannabinoids and phytonutrients. Unlike isolated or synthetic cannabinoids, full spectrum hemp CBD oil contains an array of cannabinoids, as well as many essential vitamins and minerals, fatty acids, flavonoids, and terpenes. These compounds have been proven to work synergistically - meaning they are more effective when presented together, as opposed to isolated or purified molecules.

Does Full Spectrum CBD Oil contain THC?

Many people are concerned that CBD may cause effects related to marijuana (or THC) use. Fortunately, there is no need for worry as full spectrum CBD oil is procured from hemp that contains less than .3% THC (trace levels that will not cause intoxication). However, we believe that this small amount of THC works synergistically with the other nutrients found in full-spectrum hemp CBD oil - and this belief is supported byscientific research.

Is CBD Oil Safe?

To quote areport  published by the World Health Organization, “CBD is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile.” The article goes on to say, “several countries have modified their national controls to accommodate CBD as a medicinal product. To date, there is no evidence of recreational use of CBD or any public health-related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.”

What is the difference between hemp oil and CBD oil?

Oftentimes companies will confuse these two terms, either intentionally for marketing purposes, or unintentionally due to the fact that CBD is a relatively new industry.

Hemp oil (also known as hemp seed oil) is pressed from hemp seeds, resulting in a nutrient rich oil full of essential fatty acids, chlorophyll, and various other nutrients. Many experts agree that hemp seed oil is the ideal carrier oil for CBD - which is why we use it in our full line of premium CBD products.

CBD oil is pressed directly from the flower of the hemp plant (and in some cases the stalk and stems, which has little cannabinoid content). More often than not CBD oil refers to a blend of cannabinoids and terpenes (obtained via an extraction process on the hemp) carried in an oil (such as hemp oil).

What is the difference between cannabis, hemp, and marijuana?

Hemp and marijuana are both Cannabis. Cannabis Sativa L. is simply the botanical name for the plant, of which hemp and marijuana are two different types.

Hemp is known to have higher amounts of cannabinoids, such as CBD, CBG, CBN etc. and lower amounts of THC. Whereas marijuana has been bred over time to have higher amounts of THC and small amounts of other beneficial cannabinoids.

CBD products made from marijuana remain federally illegal; whereas the hemp that we use in our products is federally legal.

Will I be able to pass a drug test with Ananda Hemp products?

Our products contain less than .3% THC. However, because of the fat-soluble nature of THC and other cannabinoids, accumulation may reach levels that can be detected by a routine drug test.

There are many variables, such as individual genetics, lifestyle, and metabolism that make it difficult to know if you will pass a drug test. If you are concerned with passing a drug test, we do not recommend using any of our products.

Check out our blog for more information on CBD and drug testing.

Are your products Non-GMO? Vegan? Gluten-free?

Ananda Hemp is proud to be 100% Non-GMO and gluten-free, and all of our CBD oils/tinctures are completely vegan.
